A Touchless Boat Cover®, is an automatic or remote-controlled boat cover. It is designed to protect boats and all kinds of other vehicles from the elements without the need for manual labor or physical handling of the cover. Our covers use a patented mechanism provide easy and convenient protection for boats, cars, golfcarts, SUVs and other vehicles. Here’s how a Touchless Cover® typically works:
Touchless Boat Covers® are designed to open and close automatically with the push of a button or through a remote control, an app on your phone or even with a smart device like Alexa or Google Home. This automation eliminates the need for the dangerous and annoying chore of covering and uncovering your boat.
The cover is usually attached to a frame and support system that spans over the boat. Frames available in both “Gator Shield” coated, galvanized steel and 6061 marine grade aluminum. Our frames are customized for any application from rivers and lake waters to brackish and ocean water.
The cover itself is typically made of TopGun® easy-to-clean marine grade fabric. The fabric has UVA threading sealed with a polymeric coating which provides protection from outdoor exposure and is abrasion resistant. Available in 10 stock fabric color choices and 10 special order colors.and available in 10 standard and 10 premium colors. See the options HERE. Our fabric is backed with a 7-year limited warranty. The fabric top and sides can be customized to meet the desired color schemes: either a single tone for the entire cover, or a two-tone option.
Electric motors are integrated into the cover system, and they are responsible for lowering and retracting the cover. The motors are controlled by a central control unit that receives signals from the user through a remote control or a smartphone app.
Remote Control: Boat owners can use a remote control or a smartphone app to operate the cover. They can simply press a button to open or close the cover, making the process hassle-free and convenient.
Touchless Boat Covers® require a power source to operate the electric motors. Our motors are marine grade, fully sealed, outdoor, zero maintenance, remote controlled or phone app upgradable motor and available in A/C and D/C models.
Aircraft, marine grade, stainless steel cables are used to evenly gather fabric while the lower frame raises and lowers. Fiberglass rods installed in the fabric offer additional internal skeletal cover support and enhanced gathering.

Touchless covers are customized and made-to-order. There are many factors, including where you live, the type of boat lift, dock and system you have. Covers on land – for trailers, cars, RVs and golf carts also have a variety of factors that will determine the cost of the production and installation of your cover. The Touchless Cover team will measure your dock and boat to identify the proper cover to fit your vehicle. Costs are given by the team after getting all the necessary details.
We currently do not have a showroom for our sample products, but your local dealer may be able to show you a cover already installed. At Boat shows we travel with a portable example of the cover. And we happily provide color swatches for you to see and feel the cover material. Yes, we do offer international shipping. However, please keep in mind that for international orders, there may be additional shipping charges, and the delivery time might be longer due to customs and import processes. These charges and delivery times can vary depending on the destination and the specific products you’re interested in.
Installation may need to be performed by one of our technicians or training may be available.
